Feeling something you haven't experienced before

The other night my boyfriend was massaging my back, and he gently nipped my back and moved his hands around similar to how a crab walks. So I said, "that feels just like a crab on my back." I even pictured a crab in my head as he did so. But then I thought, but I've never had a crab walk on my back before so how would I know how it feels?
But it felt just like a crab on my back.

Isn't it funny how humans can actually imagine what something would feel like even though they've never had that experience before?

Haha.

That is why when I hear someone say "This food tastes like dogfood" I say "I didn't know you eat dog food at home?"

Or "This tea tastes like dishwater". "Sorry. But do you normally drink dishwater to know what it tastes like?"


Unfortunately people do not always see my funny sense of humour and get offended.

I have been told I have a dry sense of humour at times... Whatever that means?

I've had people use that humour on me when I say that something tastes like dog poo. I just say ''well I know what dog poo smells like, so I'm just going by that.''

It is funny.
