Video of angry parents destroying kids electronics.

I think that is stupid as hell, electronics are expensive and also smashing them rather than properly disposing of and/or recycling them is bad for the environment. Also what exactly does it teach the kid? To me it looks like all around bad parenting. I probably don't want to watch the video because it will just piss me off.

I mean if they do that to the kids electronics i worry what they might do to the their kid if they get pissed off and there isn't an electronic device nearby to take it out on.

I'd like to tell it like it is to the parents like it is with every fiber of my honesty, how stupid I think they're acting - German style without a care about the feelings of the damn parents. I want to make those parents cry.

I never watch videos like that, I think they're just horrible and stupid. Although the fantasy of grabbing a snarling, cursing, disrespectful cell phone junkie's very dear friend and destroying it right in front of them does induce waves of pleasure. If I can detach it from their hand without the use of surgical tools, first.

I don't need my dad to destroy my electronics, I do that just fine by myself.

Oh, that's just awful. I've never understood parents who do this to their children. My friend's child disassembled and broke the iron, which was very expensive and which was bought here [/url], to which the parents reacted very negatively, breaking the child's toys in response. I believe that this is a completely wrong approach to raising children. It was worth directing your child's interests in the right direction, maybe he will grow up to be a wonderful engineer.

Kids need to learn that their actions have consequences.  Besides, who bought those electronics, anyway?

Amusing, but pointless and irrational. There are far better ways to discipline your children, plus electronics are expensive.

Destroying electronics to "discipline" your kids is really stupid for multiple reasons. I honestly just think it teaches them that destroying things when you're mad at people is acceptable, and that you don't care about the value of items. I rather parents just give them away/sell them if they really need to get them out of their kids possession, because at least you're not wasting the resources from it and that doesn't instill any other bad behaviours.

Whenever I heard a kid in school mention their parents destroying things of theirs they often, unsurprisingly, had an issue with breaking other kids things and school property (like tablets, books, etc) when mad.
