You mean, Daylight Savings ended.

The time you are experiencing now is the "real" time.

In the summer it's fake.

I hate Daylight Savings (summer) and wish they'd do away with it completely.

I love the fact it's dark earlier. I wish it was like this all year.

I first found WP because I was googling to find out if anyone else loved the end of daylight savings. (You'll see that I joined on 1st November -- my favourite time of year!) The only people I could find who agreed with me that dark is better, were autistic. It was one of my first clues about being autistic.

the early dusk doesn't bother me that much, what irritates me is the incessant brightness of the summer months.

I like rain/snow—but don’t like driving in either.

I don’t like rain below 15 Celsius. Or heavy rain any time when I’m out in it. When Im cozy in my bedroom, though, it’s cozy.

I hear you on that. I don't like driving in rain/snow either. Other drivers scare me enough already in normal driving conditions.

That is something! You must enjoy being in Texas during July-September.

ya I do generally enjoy it that time of year for the most part but we can have 90's this time of year and even in february.other parts of the state have gotten into the 90's and 100's in jan and feb march like the Valley.i look forward to the first triple digit day of the year more than December 25th.Its like a personal holiday to me.First day in the 90's is almost as good. But Texas is too cool for me year-round for the most part.I think our summers are too cool for me.I do enjoy being in Texas in the summer but being in Phoenix or Yuma would be even better.
