You know that was a good movie. I’m drawn to the concept of a girly effeminate robot thing that is sort of human that can also go around kicking ass. Because I’ve been such an easy target all my life that I guess I envy that s**t. I sort of believe in reincarnation so hopefully one day I’ll be a cute chick that looks like a robot that f***s up my opponents.

That sounds fun. We will likely be able to add robotic limbs in this lifetime.

The manga was better than the movie.

I haven't seen the live-action one, but I like the original movie from 1995 (it would have been my favorite movie for a long time when I was a young man). Which I watched the other day. I'm going to guess they took quite a bit from the original. It's cliche, but I like the spider tank and Major fight at the end, but more for the fact that both are "machines". Major feels fear, hope and loneliness, but she doesn't show it, so she may as well be one to everyone else.

I feel fear. Anxiety. Loneliness. Darkness. And perhaps, even .. hope.

I like this track from the movie. I kinda identified with Major when I was younger, and I guess even now, as she still feels, but she doesn't show it in stressful situations, or anytime. Does that make her less human? Does that make me less human? It's questions you ask when you can't connect with others and people can't read you, and seeing it fictionalized shows there's more that see the same things in their lives or pose the same questions.

I guess we all see ourselves in fictional characters in different ways. I liked the shooting when younger, but not really anymore.

I seen it some months ago. It's very good. And I'm not even into Anime.

I really love it too! It's one of my favorite animes.
