"I like chicken McNuggets. Is that an aspie thing?" That was an actual thread title here awhile ago.
Limited diets are definitely an ASD thing. Chicken tenders seem to be a common safe food for folks with ASD, so... it
kinda is.
I ate half chickens at my old workplace every day almost for 4 years.
At one point I got asked if I had stolen the chicken?!
This world is not for me, clearly.
I can't put together the rational that would lead someone to conclude eating the same food everyday meant you had stolen it. I'm not sure if that makes me dumber than him.
I'm quite certain this world isn't for me either, but this world is stuck with me regardless.

I think he was dissing me, by basically saying I was a black person, and as a black person, I could not afford to each chicken every day on a not-very-impressive wage.
That's how I was reading it, that it must be a racist barb and not actually about the food.
Unless of course, I'm not sure if the fried chicken trope exists there but if it does that would be strike 2 in that direction while also being
way more about the specific food even if there's no logic behind it.
