"I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more".

Some other singer had an even bigger challenge. Walking a million miles.

"I'd wait a million years, walk a million miles, cry a million tears".

'But I would walk 500 miles And I would walk 500 more Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles To fall down at your door'

Ultimate thirst song.

Camel cigarettes once had a slogan "I'd walk a mile for a Camel". But a lot of their smokers probably couldn't walk that far without coughing up a piece of their lungs.

I'd walk a mile for a caramel, myself.

500 Miles is the second last song at Scottish weddings. You all stand in a circle round the dance floor and dance and then join hands and run in and out of the circle for the chorus shouting the words at the top of your lungs.

The final one is Loch Lomond by Runrig. You stay in the circle holding hands and swaying.

Didnt know that there were rock versions of that song.

I can imagine that that would be a cool way to end a wedding...swaying to the Runrig version of it in a circle.

That's the one. I heard of one unfortunate bride who asked the DJ for Loch Lomond and got a traditional version instead. Her English friends were like, why did you hype this up so much?
