‘fish might just find himself in Las Vegas for a few days in early November. Anyone nearby wanna go have Caesar’s at Caesar’s? Or just beers in the street on the strip - it’s Vegas, no need to get formal & civilized by drinking indoors under supervision.

Or maybe you just want to have an "autistic meltdown" there, just for the fun of it? 
Las Vegas might well give even an NT "sensory overload".

Too bad visiting Las Vegas involves a 4- to 5-hour drive for me -- longer if I go by plane.

I've been there 3 times - never had any of those things happen.
I wouldn't have opted to be there during the time 10-11 years ago when my symptoms were at their worst, though. I didn't opt to be almost anywhere back then.
