I'm about to bake a beef steak and a salmon portion for breakfast. I'll microwave some cauliflower to go with them.

Hamburger Steaks. Not store bought brand but rather made from scratch with hamburger meat.

I'm marinating steaks to barbecue later, and baking a cake.

We're having an impromptu birthday party minus the birthday boy. :(

I'm slow cooking a Moroccan style lamb stew type thing with chickpeas and lentils and lots of spices, then you finish it up with egg and rice noodles. It's one of my favourite dishes and I make loads so I get a few meals out of it.

It's really not, you just chuck it all in a slow cooker. It's peasant food but very comforting.
