Why is that we haven't seen more anthologies for pilots?

Oh Yeah! Cartoons and What a Cartoon! we’re great for their networks Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network back in the day. These were great shows for pilot episodes. Why is that we haven’t seen more?

Because most pilots do not make it past the sales pitch and into production.  Those that do usually fail their "study group" trials.  Even if a pilot episode is ever shown to the public, it may not be picked up by any network or streaming service.

Why?  Low quality art, characterization, scripts, et cetera.  Or maybe because the networks and streaming services already have dozens (if not hundreds) of similar projects already rejected or in production.
