Why does a radish need a professional log saw? That’s an awful big bar on it.What are you going to cut down?A giant bean stalk?
I have a Stihl, one with an electric cord and a small B&D rechargeable.Best tool ever.
I hate gas fumes and I don’t need mixing oil for the gas.You can cheat and use cooking oil for bar oil.
I've got through a few chainsaws over the years. In France I cut down lots of trees on our property for logs. Here in the UK the previous owners of the property planted some leylandii conifers right next to their boundary next to a retaining wall. By the time we moved in fifty years later the trees were monsters blocking light from us and the neighbours and damaging the wall, so down they came.
I'm currently clearing some smaller conifers from the front garden. The chainsaw in the picture is more of a dream than a practical reality though. Eye candy for chainsaw nuts. Good tip about the cooking oil, I've always bought chain oil, but it does last a long time. I've recently bought mains electric chainsaws, they are pretty good as the 2-stroke engines can be a bit temperamental. I wouldn't use a rechargeable one though, I usually need a fair amount of power and for a long time, so put up with long extension leads providing mains power.
