Define what “better,” is to you.

What do you require in a fan?

Some towers can pivot and they’re quieter and usually taller. Box fans move more air but don’t change direction and are louder.

Tower fan is useless for my application for work. I prefer round fans on tilting stands as I can aim them at any angle/straight up etc, but I also got a great deal on a drum fan so I have one of those, too.

Totally depends on your needs and requirements what’s better.

I have never used a tower fan so I can’t comment on them.
I have a box fan and several on a stand.
I don’t like to buy ones made of plastic so most of mine are metal.
I just want them to be quiet and blow air.

I had round fan, it was wide like a box fan, it came with a remote, I loved it, it blew up last year.

If you liked that specific fan And utilized the remote, why not just buy the same one again ? Could probably find it on amazon or somewhere online. If you forget the exact name/model, you could try going to google image search and using search words until you find a picture of the exact same fan and then click and go over to the site the pic is on and chances are it'll have the brand/model and maybe even price if it's an e-commerce site.
