Those two are ambiguous in meaning.

I take Mr Green to be ...smug on purpose...to mean "gotcha" or like that. A bit malicious.

A young lady on WP was shocked when I said that because she had been using Mr Green all along as "just another happy face", and realized then she had been "sending folks the wrong message all this time" by using it.
