Two things happened recently that are pretty weird. First: About 2 am the CD player in the kitchen went on and Alice in Chains started playing. Everyone was in bed. Second: The next day, also in the kitchen, a picture that was on a shelf fell off and landed with a crash on the floor. No one was in the kitchen either time when these things happened. This is spooky because my grandson who died unexpectedly in May was supposed to go the the Alice concert with my daughter who lives here too. Maybe he even went to the concert, who knows. We think it is him telling us that he can still listen to Alice and Chains when he wants to and we think he is trying to let us know that he is still with us. As for the picture, it was one of my husband's hunting pictures and we think he was trying to say hello to "Pop". It will be interesting to see if he tries to contact me next. I've been asking him to.
well, CC this seems like one of those 'duh' moments, you know, the ones where we believe they can hang out after the physical body is gone and ask for them to show up. . .of course they are going to show up! My father used to walk from bedroom to front room to bed room to front room for a couple of decades. When I was packing up their old place after he passed, I looked up late one night while packing the bookcase and there he was, I now know what a 'shade' is because he was just his shade, walking from the bedroom to the front room. I was so freaked it was a struggle to stand my ground and let him know that mom was waiting where ever she was and wanted him to come to bed. I hope to heaven he heard me and realized he could hang out with mom and not just trudge his earthly beaten path any more.
but I got the hell out of there right after that quick thought to him, I was freaked out more than I wanted to say as much as I
do believe that can and is what happens.
