I have. Been told I say random things during conversations. Is only random because others were not thinking about it.

Yes many times. The more kind people have said things like "You say things I would never think of saying" or "Your brain works differently to most people, doesn't it?" which I take as compliments. I've also been called things like "Space cadet" which seems less complimentary.

I don't think the connections we're making are any less valid. It's obvious to me how what I've said is related to what was said previously, but not to most people, apparently.

I don't think I ever been called Random. People who know me a tad think I'm consistent & predictable. The issue is others having confusion & misunderstanding over the reasons behind my consistent & predictable behavior. Different people who've known me in the same environment at the same time can have contradictory opinions of me. Like some think I'm very dumb & others think I'm very smart, some think I'm very lazy & others think I'm very hard working, some think I'm very hateful & mean & others think I'm very respectable & sweet.

Yeah back in like 2009 lol, "omgz so random"

I think fairly boring and vanilla people have probably said it though because they tend to never cross social boundaries, I'd rather be considered random than boring honestly, at least I do have a special thing called an interesting personality, actually living my life. Maybe they say it out of jealousy because they will forever be vanilla and we shall forever be spicy rainbow flavour with every topping. Who knows.
