I love them they are cute and fun. I have one in my apartment that comes to hang out near my desk on the wall and desk itself sometimes. He always seems very curious( I figure it is male because the females get quite a bit bigger than the male ones and this one is very small)
A while back I did not know much about them, just had a large female in my bedroom window....and I was trying to catch her to put her back outside, but she was very aware like would see me coming before I could even attempt to catch her in a cup so I got on the internet to try and figure out what was with that spider, and found out jumping spiders are the smartest spider and they just like to hang out in windows sometimes and can probably get back out on their own, but for sure its extremely hard to catch them because they are so smart and will see you coming long before you make your move and can just jump out of the way. I mean I am glad when I get a jumping spider in the house, means it's probably eating other bugs and they like to stay in their own space...like the jumping spider hanging out on my desk doesn't want to come too close but he's still curious of what huge giant in his environment is doing.
I admit most other spiders creep me out and I wouldn't even want them on the wall near my desk, but somehow my brain makes an exception for fuzzy jumping spiders. I have heard via the internet though that I am not the only one who is fine with jumping spiders but not so much with other kinds. Like I would allow a jumping spider on my hand, but most other spiders I would not want even close to my hand.
