:?

What if we are the creation of whoever/whatever inhabited the Earth before us, and they were so technologically advanced that they created us to do work for them.. and then we took over and they died out.. and now we're repeating the cycle creating AI and robots after learning to create simulation video games 50+ years ago ? Maybe it's the natural evolution of things that we replace ourselves via technology that we develop. Maybe our "souls," & consciousness ARE what remained of previous beings and they created us to download themselves into in order to better survive on a changing planet and now we're going to have to do the same adapting to human-robot cyborg beings because the planet is changing again and these vessels can't weather the storm anymore.. ?

Hmmmmm

According to some atheists, there is no creator. If there is a creator, the creator could have made the Earth & the universe a sort of simulation, which is well documented by the "simulation hypothesis" which has been publicly touted by Elon Musk as being probable (and has been touted by others, also).

I think it is perfectly possible that the entire universe is an artificial intelligence directed universe, created by something, or someone, else.

Maybe our brains are like internet routers, connecting to each other brains in this matrix?

Who knows?

[1] In the beginning, there was Word.

[2] Word begat Excel.

[3] And Excel begat PowerPoint.

[4] And from PowerPoint came numerous ideas.

[5] And the Organics put those ideas into practice, and it was good.

I made three clones of myself.

They lived in the guest house in the back.

I mined them for spare body parts to keep myself going into my age nineties.

You know...if I needed an organ transplant I would just have one of them sedated, and take that clones body part.

Kinda like how some folks in the country keep old cars on cinder blocks in their back yard and mine them for spare parts for their single working car.

It was a great system.

Until one day they turned on me! Got uppity and tried to turn the tables on me!

Had to use my AR 15 on them and terminate them!

It was nice while it lasted.

All this stuff about AI could be just typical technophobic hysteria. I read that when the sewing machine was (re)invented in the 1800s, a riot broke out where tailors destroyed the machines at a factory because they were afraid they'd lose work or money.

Who is it that you imagine was our "creator"?

I remember the backstory in the G1 Transformers was that the robots were once created millions of years ago on t the planet Cybertron by an alien race called the Quintessons, but then the Transformers, both Autobots and Decepticons, rebelled against them and claimed the planet as their own. But since the Quintessons were cruel, malevolent creatures, I had no problem with that. But humans are soooo good and peaceful, not cruel or heartless at all, even to their own kind. /s
