Is Facebook broken?

I hate posting on Facebook, but sometimes have to. Right now, whenever I start to type, a pop-up comes up that says "say who you're with" and it only allows one option: "OK." No, it is not OK. But since I will not press OK, it won't let me post. Does this happen to anyone else?

I refuse on principle to agree to random popups. I hate popups with a passion, and I hate "by clicking here you agree that what we just did is OK (and may even imply agreement to a million pages of terms and conditions)" even more. I repeat, that pop up is NOT OK. I will not lie and click that it is even if that is what the click means - that button could mean anything). I will not be sucked into their game. And since their game is to get as much information from users as possible in order to sell it to advertisers, I wonder if I can ever use Facebook again.

I hate that, too. Have you tried using the light version of Facebook? It has less pop-ups.

They learned a lot indeed. They learned that without the popups they get less information for their real customers: the advertisers.

The don't get any information off me at all! I deleted everything in my facebook account and deactivated it!

Facebook web designers are forever trying to stress the importance of their jobs by eternally changing the blasted layout and functionality of the site. As such, they often tend to break their own site with faulty coding when they change to the yet again "newest face of facebook!"
