Ok...about three weeks ago I went a bought a cheap rubiks cube ($5) to see if I could solve it. After three days...it broke :? .

So...I went back to the same store and got another one. That one lasted for a week, and then broke  .

This is very irritating as I am trying to solve it but can't if they keep on breaking...anyway...my question is, do any of you know any online store that sell rubiks cubes??? Or anyone on NZ, do you know of any stores in general that sell good quality ones that wont break???

Not that I am going to solve it anytime soon lol...but was just wanting to get one so I can start practising again. (The last time I solved it...it took me more than two months!...and I have no idea where I put the cube)

Thanks.

I bought one from Wal-Mart a while back, and it's held up fine.

I've never heard of rubiks cubes breaking unless you do something like throw them against the wall (and hard).

I'd just go to a party store and get the 6 keychain rubiks cube for a $1.00 - then even if it breaks you A) didn't spend much more on it and B) have a few backups

No where else...I have gotten all of mine (a total of three) from there. That is the reason why am asking where to get them from as I want one that wont break just from trying to solve it

I have my original one from the '80s and it still works fine. I lubed it with Vaseline and Graphite Powder like they suggested back in the day and it turns smoothly.
