For me...

Grade 9: drama, computer science

Grade 10: biology

Grade 11: visual communications (photography, filming), drama

Grade 12: drama, biology, parenting, traditional English, creative writing, phys. ed. (but the latter had to be replaced with math because I'd failed the compulsory math the semester before).

years 11 and 12: english, maths A, multi-strand science, biology, art, legal studies.
I was not that good at any of these subjects, but they were the least of all the evils. Art would not have been to bad if I actually had a teacher who was not a giggling idiot and actually taught the class. Multi-strand had a good teacher who tried to make the best of a boring subject. Biology would have been good if we could keep on with the interesting fields and ignore the boring bits. English and maths were compulsory and truely evil.

In high school, I took English, Spanish, biology, chemistry, math, history, psychology and religious studies. I also took typing and worked as a teacher's aide for an elementary school class.

You are the lucky ones having a possibility to choose subjects you want to learn in high school. In Poland there's not such an option - all the pupils learn the same compulsory things and you can believe me that such fascinating subjects like psychology, religious studies, drama, creative writing or visual communications don't belong to them.

Mexico's School system takes after the French (or European) system. You don't get to choose anything until the last year of highschool and that's only the area of interest (physics/mathematician, Biology/Chemist, Economy, Humanities). The university likewise doesn't let you choose (save for when) until the last 3 semesters (out of 10), where you can fiddle with 4 courses in total.

For me, I chose Physics/Mathematician (actually my high school degree is a title, I have a sort of bachelor degree in that area).

I studied Computer Engineering (supposedly the equivalent of a bachelor since the next step is the masters degree) and chose:
-Computer Graphics
-Selected Topics in Computer Engineering (OOP with Java)
-Computer Aided Design
-Digital Image Processing
