Meh.

He was one of the better Bible characters although he was still problematic in certain ways.

I watched a good movie about him today, "Son of God" (from 2014, I think). I think he was very interesting and want to learn more about him. I plan to read the Bible one day. I will start with the New Testament. He was either just who he said he was, a powerful magician, and enlightened teacher, a charismatic fraud, a spirit made flesh, or a combination of all of the above. I do think he was capable of miraculous things. Much of what he said is not practiced in the world, and I am not sure whether it can be practiced in literal form without the break-down of society. But it is worth considering.

I think there should be nothing wrong with that as long as you try to practice what he preached like loving your neighbor as yourself kind of thing. People using Jesus's name as an excuse to hate on & commit violence against others who are different like lots of people seem to do these days makes people like me feel alienated & want to jump ship to a different religion or rebel against religion in general. I'm NOT assuming you or everyone else who believe in Jesus are like that but very unfortunately some who do are & it ruins what coulda been a great thing. I could majorly respect Jesus but not the way some people claim to follow him
