Did he actually say this? That's crazy to me! I fail to keep up with much news on him because it irritates me... but are you taking a creative writing course in highschool? That's awesome, I hope you enjoy it.
I took one in my freshman year and it was so fun despite my dislike for the teacher...

I took one in my freshman year and it was so fun despite my dislike for the teacher...He more or less did. I think that part of the issue is that he's one of those people that just ignores the autistic people that are able to get by in society with less external supports as being somehow not really disabled. It's not clear to me that he doesn't know that there are other autistic people out there or if it's just that those folks are inconvenient to his agenda.
But, even under a fairly generous interpretation of what he's been saying, it comes off as ignorant and misguided. And, there's a high probability that the recommendations will be some form of eugenics, antivax and probably not something that's really going to help anybody out at all. He's already decided that the cause of autism is vaccines or other environmental factors.
