My theater is showing older movies on the big screen. I think it’s pretty cool. Because some of us never got to experience these films in the big screen.

I love the idea of older movies being played in the theatre on the big screen. I'd pay big bucks to see The Sound of Music on the big screen.

Interstellar came out in 2014!
I swear it seems like it was no more than five years ago. I have no measurable sense of time.

I would love to see some silent films on the big screen. Movies from the 1930s as well. Imagine the face of Boris Karloff in closeup as the monster when he first shows himself. I have seen Metropolis, the 1925 Phantom of the Opera, and Dracula on the big screen, but I was as close to the screen as I normally sit. King Kong would be awesome.

Fathom Entertainment shows all manner of things. Some are old movies. They tend to be special events and expensive.

August 14 - I already have my ticket.

Sure why not? Most new movies are second to third-rate remakes of older and better movies, anyway.

This article that I found may be two years old, but what do you think about any of these
movies getting re-released in IMAX at some point?
