I'm saving up my change and once the tin is full, I'm planning to buy something. I'm wondering what it is that I should buy for myself.

1. A more high-tech and faster laptop with all the bells and whistles.

2. A Lederhosen because of my love for Germany and my gender identity.

I'm on the other side and I do love dirndls...
Can become expensive if you want to go beyound carnaval/oktoberfest stuff. (you already found out considering the other option).
C&A used to have proper dirndls (and nice) but not anymore apparently (perhaps temporary). No idea for the male side.

(I'm a Krüger girl  https://www.krueger-dirndl.de - also have lederhosen, not the most expensive, still cheaper than high-end laptop.)

If you don't know them already, you might like Heimatdamisch :D

(and only weird until you find yourself 'twinning' with -most likely- german couple waiting for the ICE on the other platform  )

Any more insight?

I looked at the site and I really like their products.

Think my choice would be lederhosen but not much of a laptop user. The one from work not great but ok (and only used for work... putty doesn't need much :D ) and pc not old but plenty for what it still needs to do (assembled & tuned for maxon&e-on both very hungry but I do not use anymore).

Both..sorry... and a new pc/ laptop ,might be more educational . And interesting . especially ,if you decide on a new
operating system. To learn Linux is not to difficult , harder to hack? i think? but winter is coming , So Lederhosen,
could be a poor investment Unless you have your heart set on them ?, but not help you to exercise your brain.

A new laptop might be more essential if you do online things a lot. I just read that Microsoft is ending support fo Windows 10 & about 40% of computers are not capable of being upgraded to Windows 11.
