I have heard some very interesting ones. From more tame ideas that I'd try, to ones that make me question how they even found the combination.

For me it was "Chocolatea" as I called it.
I would add a tea bag to my hot chocolate and I drank so much every day for such a long time. It's surprisingly good. I think I ran out of coffee so I used a tea bag. What possessed me to do that. Unsure. I was in a bad place and not sleeping much. It was one of my only comforts. I haven't had it in a while. I was partly shamed out of it and partly just moved on.

Have you ever known anyone to have a strange combo? What was it? Whats your thing? How was it discovered?

As a child, I’d sometimes treat myself to a glass of tinned milk with orange juice (concentrated and sugared; the only kind available to us back then). Not sure if I’d enjoy it now.

Then was the way I’d scarf down a family sized bag of crisps (that’s “chips”, to you in the colonies) with a tub of Philadelphia cream cheese; I cringe think of the fat content...

Days ago I paired stir fried pork with left over Beecher's mac and cheese. Probably not unusual per say.

Oh my cod

The most adventurous I've been is lemon curd with chocolate spread and peanut butter on toast

One of the guys in Aldi told me that he likes to put cocoa powder with his coffee but I wouldn't call that exotic
But I'll let him know to mix it with tea

Chocolate covered pineapple gummies. They're a Hawaiian treat.

When I used to get up early for work I'd make two fried eggs on toast and I would top it off with grated cheese and HP sauce

I don't think that's a weird combo but I used to make it every morning at 5:30 before I got on my bike, so that might put the chills up some people

Speaking of pineapple. I had this phase of mixing pineapple juice with half and half creamer. This was way before Starbuck's pineapple passion fruit refresher which honestly I think my creation tasted better.

Good old HP sauce. Reminds me of my Dad. It was always in the house. Iguess it still is at their place. Used to eat it with bangers and mash

When I first started experimenting with veganism, I made a sandwich, I usually love a bacon sandwich so I put everything in there that I could find that was crunchy. The sandwhich went like

Bread with a crunchy peanut butter spread
------
Shredded carrot
Mixed nuts and raisins (for sweetness)
Apple slices ( sour green apples is especially nice with this)
A drizzle of maple syrup
----
Bread with crunchy peanut butter spread

Also a favourite non vegan sandwhich of mine is something I call lamb and jam. Leftover roast (preferably lamb, but roast pork works well too) and jam (blueberry jam is amazing) in between fresh slices of bread, no butter needed on the bread as the jam prevents the sandwhich from being too dry.

The vegan sandwich sounds pretty good. I would probably replace the maple syrup with honey. Just a personal preference! :)

A stuffing butty always goes down a treat

The stuffing has got to be nice and hot
