So last night I went out for some chinese. Got some Szechuan Shrimp dish complete with carrots, peapods, unusual tasting mushrooms, etc. I think I'm paying for that this morning. I don't think I was feeling sick at all when I got home. But then I had a dream last night where I was watching someone puke. And I woke up nauseous, still am. I don't know of my digestive system triggered the dream or vice versa. But anways, I can't get rid of it. And I can't get this god awful aftertaste off of my breathe. The taste of those mushrooms, I think it was. Tried to curb it with a piece of minty gum, but that only made it worse for a short time and then I could taste that terrible taste in my mouth again.

You need to eat complete carbohydrates like mashed potato or rice plain and also drink plenty water, maybe have a banana later.

I remember last year after eating some fish, my mouth tasted like a litterbox smells. I felt nauseated too.

I like Chinese food, but it sometimes makes me nauseous. I'm usually okay as long as I eat it with lots of rice.

Probably just indigestion. If it was food poisoning you'd be throwing up.

I got food poisoning from Chinese once. I woke up in the middle of the night and started puking so hard that I was immediately dripping with sweat. The worst part was that the nausea didn't simply stop once my stomach was empty. The dry heaves lasted like 8 hours and it was torture. I wanted to sue the damn restaurant.

I'm still apprehensive about eating Chinese.

well in light of this and of previous experiences I'm probably not going to bother with chinese for a long time. If at all. Luckily I got over it once a moment came where I was feeling slightly less nauseous than usual, I took my chances and had a bowl of cereal. Seemed to be doing okay afterwards.

Well I'm glad you didn't end up praying to the porcelain gods for 8 hours straight like I did. Maybe the mushrooms didn't agree. I don't like mushrooms anyways so I just pick them out.

I probably got sick that one time because some stupid cook didn't wash their hands before touching my rice or left the sauce out too long.
