We have sure become an "abbreviated society" what with the SMS brigade and all the LOLs and IMHO's..

Here are a few more which could possibly be used if folk knew what they meant... not that I'm really in favour of abbreviations, this is just to have fun...

OOO: Out of order (posted on faulty machines...)
NAGI: not a good idea!
GI: good idea!

Any other suggestions?

since my army days was fond of SNAFU [Situation Normal, All F****d Up] and FUBAR [F****d Up Beyond All Recognition].

Computers: MICROSOFT - Most Intelligent Customers Realize Our Software Only Fools Teenagers

Computer support: PICNIC - Problem In Chair, Not In Computer

Computer support: RTFM - Read The Freeking Manual

Networks: ISDN - It still does nothing.

L&D forum: LOVE - Loss Of Valuable Energy.
