Who knows stuff about satellite internet?

Me and Username88 think it's a good idea to have satellite internet in the commune... as in, a satellite that all the commune's computers are connected to, so we can all have free internet, and also sell internet services to others for money for the commune or themselves or whatever. Does anyone want to start a satellite internet service where they have a satellite dish that communicates with the internet stuff (sotrry, I'm not a technical person) up in space, without any middleman (middle-machines, whatever)?

Ok, I think you're a bit confused as to what satellite internet normally is.

When someone says they have satellite internet, what it is is this:

A dish that RECIEVEs signals from the internet (download) and a phone line connected to the ISP that sends signals (upload). It's quite a trouble prone set of connections because the two signals are hard to keep synchronized. This causes as sorts of odd things when trying any sort of advanced networking like VPNs and such. It is also highly prone to weather interference.

I knew what it was but I didn't know that it's hard to keep the two signals synchronized. Why don't they invent some kind of box that properly handles the synchronization? In this day and age, it's hard to imagine something like this being difficult to impliment.
