I've been to:

Toronto, Ontario (I was born there and don't remember it)
Montreal, Quebec-- lived in Lachine and Dorval
Gananoquay, Ontario-- went there for my uncle's wedding and stayed the night
Gaspe, Quebec-- went several times to visit relatives, stayed for some summers and Christmas holidays
Amsterdam, Holland-- stayed one day and one night on grade 11 social studies Europe trip
Koln, Germany-- it was fun to shop there
Fussen, Germany-- another fun place to shop
Munich, Germany-- yet another fun place to shop
Berne, Switzerland-- poor little bearsies trapped in that pit! I hope they were happy getting all that attention and not lonely or bored! Bears are my favorite animal... I got a postcard of the bears but lost it somehow after I got home!
Interlaken, Switzerland-- if you need a knife, go there!
Rome, Italy--ruins are ideal place to squat in! Beautiful city, beautiful hotel (we stayed at the Portamaggiore)
Florence, Italy-- beautiful and unique! I even loved the brown canal, regardless of what made it brown... nice murals on the ground too! Interesting statue surrounded by a gate which hundreds, maybe thousands of people shacked locks to and wrote their names on the locks.
Isle of Capri, Italy-- beautiful island... you can stand on beautiful walkways and look down into beautiful private backyards!~
London, England-- the cold, the rain, the gruesome history, the misery grows on you and becomes glamorous, like Les Miserables!
Nice, France-- beautiful sophisticated place
Brockville, Ontario-- lived there for a year while doing grade 12. Dickensian characters, lots of snobbish conservative people and open-minded dysfunctional people! :D Beautiful diverse city-like high school!
Edmonton, Alberta-- live there now.
Paris, France-- just as I imagined it
Frankfurt, Germany-- never went outside the airport, but it was an IMPRESSIVE BIG INTIMIDATING airport!

All the European places I've been were on the grade 11 trip, btw. :)

I'm a walking holiday person, so I tend to stay in several places per holiday. For this reason, I can't be arsed to list all the cities, I'll just run off a list of countries :P

*England (Obviously enough)
*Wales
*Scotland
*France
*Spain
*Switzerland
*Finland
*Russia
*America

And I'm off to Holland in October. Yay.

I stayed at Porta Maggiore also. It was a beautiful hotel. I have the key ornament that our room key was on. Room 519. It's a heavy bronze disc about 2 inches in diameter with a raised cloaked bust of a woman on one side with "Hotel Porta Maggiore, Roma" in raised lettering underneath. On the reverse are the arches that I could see from my room window, and 519.

In Florence we stayed at the Hotel Meditteraneo, also beautiful. We went in 1995 - I think.
