Way to many people would have had to be involved. Sure killing someone the government could pull it off only a few need be involved, but this would take hundreds all performing as planed and nobody ever talking. The US government has never been known for such skill in these matters
A popular reason to doubt the government could have done it.
Though lots of people would be involved, it has been explained how not everybody needs to know what the final outcome of thier individual contribution would be.
More than that though, consider an organisation such as the Freemasons, thier sworn loyalty to each other and the promise of violent death they except for ever talkling, especially the higher up the Pyramid they get.
Consider the Skull and Bones secret Yale society from which we get so many of our ruling Elite, a close and locay club who work together to further thier own aims, especially when you consider the amount of money these people made from 911, Larry Silverstien and his 4 billion dollars for instance, or the winning put options put on the airline companies before 911.
Not only that, the treat of a horrible death for your wife and children works wonders.
Did you know that it was George Bush's brother who ran the security company that looked after the twin towers?, and insured no bomb sniffer dogs where allowed in after the "cable update" work?
As for the administration being too incompetant, its not exactly the government themselves that did it out right, just elements, look to the very competant agencies like the FBI, CIA or even Mossad, did you know the head of NORAD is a known Zionist?, what a great excuse for getting America to destroy all Israels enemies for them, and there are a lot of very patriotic Zionists in power in America, including most of the media.
