My favourite WP memory, is the week that I've joined. It was the hottest week in July, and I didn't have my first laptop, yet. The year was 2004. I was a really big fan, of Austin Powers. The very first thread that I've posted in, was one about unusual accents.

This was my first post:
I'd like to find myself a nice decent Aspie man about my age. I'd like to be in a relationship with someone who would understand my quirks.

I remember joining here in 2006 and I was 21 at the time. I was into Benny & Joon and I loved Spokane. I lived in Montana still and was still single. I had just dumped by ex the month before. Sadly my very first post isn't here because my accounts were deleted. I think my very first post was where I talked about what aspies I knew in real life.

I think this is a great thread that gives people a chance to say nice things.

One of my favourite and earliest memories at WP was during my first few weeks as a member.

I was responding to a thread about 'mild' AS and Willard pointed out that there was NOTHING mild about AS.

Speaking only for myself and after some reflection, I had to agree and am very grateful to him for that.

He was right and I have been getting to know myself even better over the 6 months since that happened.

I am in PM contact with some WP members (you know who you are) and it's always nice to get a message from one of them.

I was really happy when Age1600 started posting again.
