I've never been to a real party!

I've been to:

My uncle Walter's wedding...
Several of my friend Melissa L-C's birthday parties...
Several of my friend Jennifer W's birthday parties...
My friend Stephanie L's birthday party...
My cousin Julie Z's birthday party...
My dad's birthday party at my grandparents' place... maybe more than one for him...
My mom's birthday sort-of party at my aunt's place...
My acquaintance/friend Johanna V's birthday party...
3, maybe more, St. Patrick's Day parades...
My friend Melissa L-C's baby brother's Christening... it was a little bit of a party...
2, maybe more St-Jean-Le-Baptiste celebrations in the park and the street...
My friend Melissa L-C's mother's New Year's Eve (1999-2000) party...
Class Christmas, Halloween, and end of school year parties...
After-school-daycare Christmas and Halloween parties...
2 of my friend Sara's birthday parties...
A party at my grandparents' house; I think it was my grandfather's birthday...
Another party my mother took me to where the people there knew my cousins and I think the people there were all adults...
Aspie social-skills groups Christmas and end-of-school-year summer parties...
The 50th wedding aniversary party of my father's aunt and uncle...
Canada Day celebrations in the park...
The tail-end of a stranger's birthday party in the park and a backyard (though I never went in there) where I played with the kids at the party...
The Leaders (kids club sort of thing I was in at the pool) "party" in a party room at the movie theatre, where we watched part of Greece and ate cake...
"Tea party" at my friend Melissa L-C's place that never happened...
Halloween party at Sparks (early girl scouts)
My friend Jennifer L's end-of-school-year summer party...
My go-away party the summer I was in Gaspe when I was 5...

Have been invited but never go so they finally quit inviting me (it was nice to be asked through :D ) Went to a wedding in August and it was made extreamly clear to me that I still do not fit in. Was so "alone" the groom had me sit w/ the wedding party. I was really embarrassed to say the least and have decided to swear off any "Group Functions" unless it's the people at work cause they all know how I am and accept me the way I am. It's the closest thing to "Family" that I have now.

Family and birthday parties have always sucked so Im not even going to mention them.
When I was in Washington there was a party just about every other night, and group get togethers in between in the apartment I was living in. Being the only aspie within my roomates and their friends, I just got wasted and did my best to fit in.. Didnt exactly work out in the end but man, did we have some wild nights :P

I loathe parties. Yuck.
Last I went to was when I went to the Lord Of The Rings party for the stage show in London and I stayed right on the edge of the room by the door, and couldn't approach anyone.

Had a lot of bday ones though as a child.

I've been to "parties" that my friends host. But it's basically just my friends hanging together plus their wives plus a few extra friends the host knows.

I just sit around with my friends talking about the same meandering nerdy stuff we always talk about.

Sometimes there are games played.

Alcohol is always served, but I don't drink much... I started to drink a little more lately... I'll see how it goes at new parties.

My Cousin's Bachelor party is coming up, we'll be playing paintball and taking a brewery tour. And then crashing at a friends house... most of my friends'll be drinking into the night.

I like doing stuff with my friends... it's random parties with people I don't know that's the problem.

One time a friend invited me to a Tasteful Simple Party... guys I'm telling you never go to one of these. It'll destroy your brain. :?

There's an interesting story about what I did to crash the party in a very socially inappropriate way... but it's for a different day.

ive gathered a good group of guys from school and we often hang out and have a few drinks, we pretty much gathered during the year at various 18ths

all the wedding receptions ive been to have sucked though .......... being my step brother's (his wife spent their bugit on the dress so everything else sucked but i just talked to my sister for most of it), and my step sister's (i was talking to my step cousin[or something] she was pretty cool but i drank to much and accidentally drew my sister in and then the next thing i remember i was sitting by myself glaring at the band, im still angry about that she was cute, smart, i have no f*****g ida if i offended her and now i probably wont see her for a few years)

I think if I can recall, the last party I went to was New Years 1998 or something like that, I was about 25 years old.

Well outside of the small parties at home for my sons' birthdays.

I don't like parties where there are a lot of people I don't know. I don't like crowds. At most gatherings, I was bored out of my mind, because the people were all talking about nothing. I went to a couple of gatherings in which I found the host's pets to be more interesting than the people.
