I have three...yippee!! !

Megan - 8
Joshua - 4
Molly - 1

Megan is sick. Joshua doesn't like his room or bed anymore and is downstairs with me. Molly finished her nighttime bottle, but is crying for more in her crib. Yay!! !

Joshua got his first kiss from a girl today while at pre-school. On the lips too!! ! He is quite the looker like his dad.

No human children-just cats and a dog.

I'm not a 'bioparent' but I'm in the throes of becoming a step parent.

It seems to be working out reasonably well, except the youngest wants me to play make-believe games with him and I just can't... and don't know how to explain to him that I can't. Watching him playing the other day just reminded me of when I was young and getting angry with my cousins because their play was so illogical.

I have three wonderful kids on the specctrum. It lead my husband and me to realize that we're not weird, we're just spectrum people. Okay, maybe it does make us weird but a fun kind of weird. It's hard to be an aspy mom though. My husband and I both need a nice down to earth NT wife to keep track of things.

I have 3 kids. The oldest is 9, and NT. This is one of my biggest challenges at the moment. I didn't even know how to relate to other girls when I was 9, much less now. She's very mature, and creative. She could spend hours alone with her easel, and paints. My middle child is on the spectrum (PDD-NOS) and is very smart. He is the only one in my family that can understand my logic in loading the dishwasher in a very symmetrical, logical pattern. We have a lot in common! My third child is also on the spectrum. He is forever wanting to play, and his laughter can make my heart melt. He used to not even acknowledge that I exist, so when he wants my attention now he ALWAYS gets it. I'll drop anything to play with him. Being a mom is difficult for me at times, but I love it. Even though I feel like the odd one out with the rest of the world I always feel like I have a place to belong with my family. :)
