What textbooks (besides novels) did you have in school?

There's already a thtread on the novels, lol. What textbooks and workbooks did you have? Maybe we had some of the same!


In grade 1 I had: Challenging Mathematics 1 (a workbook), a French textbook and workbook set called Alouette
Grade 2: Challenging Mathematics 2 and a science textbook
Grade 3: Challenging Mathematics 3 and a science textbook, and a French workbook called Alouette (a different one)
Grade 4: Challenging Mathematics 4 I think, I forget if there were others
Grade 5: I forget
Grade 6: Houghton Mifflin Mathematics, Challenging Mathematics 6, maybe something else, a grade 7 math book as well for my enriched math classes.
Grade 7: A New Tomorrow textbook and workbook set for religion class (Catholic), a Good News Bible, Ricochet 1 workbook for French, Science Interactions volume 1, Earth: The Living Planet, a geography workbook, The Writer's Guide, this book that showed how to make a bibliography, a music book with famous things by Bach, a music workbook, I think that was all.
Grade 8: Carrousel (sp?) Mathematics volumes 1 and 2, Science Interactions 2, People Through the Ages, Pratique Du Vocabulaire, Ricochet 2, Vincent et Moi, this French story book about this girl named Rachel who I think gets drunk and ends up in jail.
Grade 9: geography textbook, geo workbook, Carrousel Mathematics 3, A Breath Of Life, Pensar Y Apprender (workbook)
Grade 10: History of Quebec and Canada In A Nutshell (workbook), Carroussel Mathematics 3 again I think!
Grade 11: I had Carroussel Mathematics 3 yet again! economics workbook
Grade 12: a biology textbook, a math textbook (personal finance), and a textbook on world issues.

I can't remember all the textbooks I've had. It's just too trivial. But they were all loaded with propaganda. And don't get me started on Anne Frank, the most grating, annoying book I've ever read. And the Lord of the Flies was bad too.

I LOVED Anne Frank. It was one of my favoite books! She was an NT girl. I don't know if I would identify with her any more, but I went thru all that teengage NT stuff when I was like 9 and 10 to 13, so I could really identify with her. My mom read me Anne Frank's diary when I was 9.

I couldn't remember them all by name, but my curriculum included English, Spanish, mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography, history, economics, psychology and computers.

I had them mainly in secondary school and the ones I had were

GCSE Mathematics

They are the only ones I remember.

Oh yeah, I also needed an English dictionary, a French dictionary, and English-French dictionary and in grade 9, an English-Spanish dictionary. And in grade 6, a Roget's Thesaurus.

We didn't use books in special ed.

Since 4th grade to 6th grade on elementary school, we used a big book named School Guide 4, 5 and 6. That book included excercises related with all the subjects of every grade.
