If you haven't heard of what this is...let me explain a little.

It is usually when I group of three or more people try and each drink one gallon of milk to try and induce vomiting! Sometimes they mix other things with the milk such as eating chilli sause in between, to make them more sick! I have also seen people eating blocks of cheese!

I have seen on youtube, teenagers having parties specifically for this purpose...not alcohol, just drinking gallons of milk per person!

It is very popular and if you search on youtube and type in "puke fest" you will get LOTS of results.

Now...what people don't get is there are many dangers to this...severe dehydration, enamel loss on the teeth if repetidley done, internal bleeding etc. This is becoming as popular as "suffocation roulette"/

What is your opinion on this matter? Do you think it is becoming another one of the deadly "teenage crazes"?

Oh man what lamers!

We were doing that on the Alaska Fire Crews way before that!

We called it a 4-4-30

Drink 4 quarts of water (4 canteens worth)

In 4 minutes

And keep it in for 30 seconds

The winner got to keep all the money pooled for the bet!

We usually did this after coming in off the fire line.

I have this SPECTACULAR shot of me with a huge stream of water cascading from my mouth :P

I was starting my 4th but just couldn't finish it.

Funny thing for me was how smooth it felt coming back out.

Wanna see the pic? I may be able to find it!

Well, in my case it was just water in - water out.

I can't see stuffing a bunch of solids in there just to have it all come back out. :?

Well, maybe in the same sense as those who self-mutiliate?

Or maybe like those who do that choking thing in another thread?

Seems like some sort of bonding ritual, maybe. Sharing in unpleasantness seems to bring others closer together, even here. Test of manhood and all that.

I remember watching some show about a tribe in New Guinea or something, and the men would all take turns jumping off a rickety tower and faceplanting in the soft soil.

I bet there were girls watching. That seems to account for about %90 of bizarre male behaviour.

Well, I'm very afraid of vomiting, so I can't imagine the appeal of that activity.

I'd do it. I'd probably win too. I LOVE milk! I can knock back 2 litres of 2% no problem.

oh, yeah... at my college it was called the gallon challenge. You have one hour to drink an entire gallon of whole milk and keep it down for thirty minutes. If you can, you get the pool of cash that your buddies have bet against you doing it. I have only seen one guy do it successfully. He collected his cash and then went to the bathroom to throw up so he could still eat dinner. mmmmm.

I find it disgusting and moronic. I don't see how anyone would find that fun.

I have a slight emetophobia so even thinking about this bothers me.
