I don't think I've hit 1,000 posts on any other website ever! WOOHOO!

Come on over to my place to celebrate!
Let's see... I have wasabi peas, ramen, half a bag of chocolate-covered mint cups, week-old cooked popcorn shrimp (I'm still meaning to stir-fry that, but first-come-first-served!), some pine nuts, one box of Annie's Organic Bunny Mac&Cheese... hey, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel now... and several cans of tuna!

I'll pass on the week-old prawns, though, thanks! :D

Congratulations, and my best to you, brother. I'll always remember you as the only person here, ever, to really give me a run for my money in arguing (debating?). You have a keen, logical mind, and I respect you for that. Please forgive me if I'm a bit off the wall sometimes; that's just my style...

You beat me to 1000 posts. But, I'm taking my time. :P

Where's your custom title? 8O

Good fortune,

- Icarus wonders what wsmac will become after a Phoenix....

Good question Icarus

and thanks for the kind words.

I did regret not returning to that thread. I appreciated your good humor towards my sometimes awkward posts.

I'm not fixated on my post count, but I did happen to catch the 999th and naturally was wondering what I'd do for the 1,000th.

Reminds me of George Carlin's set about the 10 Commandments... specifically how the number 10 holds such an emotional place for humans.

You are quite welcome! Glad I got your name correct in at least one of them! :D

While I appreciate your feelings... should I be proud of my accomplishment? After all, it shows what I do with a good portion of my free time 8O
I think it's partly due to all those games... alphabet, dictionary, guess who'll post next, AND OF COURSE... The WP Limerick thread! :D

Wow! a visit from a Grand Master of Post Counts!

I bow in all humbleness! :D

Thanks you all... sorry about the fish Sodarktheshadows... it's all in cans if that helps! It's my emergency earthquake rations!

But I was willing to open one for the party if anyone was interested!

So what is it that makes people get all giddy reaching certain numbers of posts?

Congratulations wsmac! Yeah, it must be this place, I didn't think I'd get past 1,000 posts at any forum.

And another vote for the limerick thread. It's a brilliant

Not sure about your party food though 8O but my cat would eat the tuna. :)

Oh yes...

Anonymous Anonymous
His thread does astonish us!
With word skill so fine,
It’s almost sublime,
Like the paintings of Bosch, Hieronimus

(not many words rhyme with Anonymous, lol)
