It does have a see-through component, in the bottom right of the first picture, and the bottom left of the second picture.

I didn't know they made counterfeit bills in such small denominations. Seems to me if you're gonna go through all the trouble of counterfeiting money, you might as well make a bill that's worth something, like a fifty or a hundred.

The last time I went to a restaurant drive-thru, some guy in front of me paid with a fifty and I could see one of the employees holding it up to a light to check its authenticity after he left. Counterfeit fives are better because everyone's first reaction is "what kind of a dumb@*$ counterfeits a five?" so it will more likely go under the radar.
