If you put in the hard yards, you can be there in a few days.

To get your post count up do the following:

- welcome everyone new to WP!
- go threads like 'post a threat' and post lots of threats!

You get to create your own rank, rather than be an emu egg, t(o)ucan, phoenix, etc.

Hi Tim,

I thought you get to create your own rank at 1000.

I was wondering what the incentive was to keep posting after 1000?

ie: What do you get for 2000?

Nothing for 2000 posts. Once you create a custom rank at 1000 posts, you can change it at any time. Or you can keep your "Phoenix" rank (the one you get when you reach 500 posts).

Anubis, How did you manage 12,000 in such a short time?

Did you do it all yourself or engage a committee (or do what some other posters are doing here and count to a million via posts)?
