The Brecons are beautiful.

I have family in North Wales and love the scenery around Dolgellau and Machynlleth. You're right about the water. I think the taste is so good because of all the slate.

I don't know any, but I would like to learn, I had to ask my dad to tell me something in welsh. He's Welsh, but has lived here most of his life. The only other thing he knew was Dioch Fawr for your reply!

Not round Machynlleth.

But Machynlleth is not the Brecon Beacons. It's further west in a different geological context.
