when i administrated a micronation with my friend i had one always from albanian countries or china, they would advertize pharmacuticals or even pr0n 8O i did have a way of controlling it, since we used phpbb, i went in and set the accounts permissions to set to ask administrator(s) and about every day would get at least 5 asking to join and all having same thing in profile so i would go in and delete it from the board and from the phpbb server

think its bad in boards i get a ton of it in yahoo (regular inbox and spam box)

Whether it's the same people or not, they sure do want the same thing for me -- to enlarge something that doesn't exist.

No. All the spam I get is from different people.

I don't know. But apparently Jefferson Trevino, Shane Shaw, Viola Manuel, Lula Fink, and Albert Wilson are all anxious to see that my "dik" [sic] increases in size by the new year. Bless their little hearts.

I get five or six a day inviting me to enlarge a certain part of my anatomy (although I've received no complaints); one or two asking me to buy their fake watches even though I'm quite happy with the watch I have; the odd stock scam which I ignore and the odd invitation to meet Russian women.

The best ones are the folk who want to smuggle money out of the country because I can play with their minds. So far I've managed to get one guy arrested and another guy is now in lots of trouble with his local customs department. There's a whole underculture surrounding this so if you have some spare time head along to http://419eater.com and have a look around. Note, if you want to start baiting spammers you need to follow some basic rules:

1. ALWAYS use a false identity, set up a free email account with Google or Yahoo! and then hide behind that.

2. NEVER reveal your real name, address or phone number. If you want to get into this seriously then set up a Post Office box somewhere to receive mail.

2. ALWAYS remember that these folk are crooks.

Meh, I don't care about internet spam. Most of it never gets past the filters.
