Anyone know of a place where I can download A Free (not shareware)
Wordperfect
and
Microsoft word?

My Microsoft word is corrupted,
and I need them for filling out legal forms,
My lawyers are sending me all kinds of stuff to work on dealing with
child custody and mediation and all kinds of other stuff.
and my pocket book is kinda empty at this time until payday,
but when it comes to the legal stuff I cant slow down or hesitate,
I have to keep on top of things,
If she never contests the child custody, I wish she would let me know sooner,
this is all costing me more and more and more,
because I am expecting her to challenge it, I have to expect the worst and hope for the best,
I had rather spend the money on my son some new cloths if she don't contest anything.
but if she does contest it then I have to be ready for it.
send me some links anyone? please?

What yowlingcat said!

OpenOffice.org is an awesome FREE word processing very similar to MS Word. I have used it for a long time now and I couldn't be happier with it. Try it out!

Sorry if this is a dumb question:

If I send someone a file written in Open Office, will they be able to open it in Word?

if your word is corrupted and you have the original installation CD, you can try re-installing it.
