does anyone here like Pocky? and if so what is your favourite pocky?
(pocky is a japanese sweet, sticks that are flavoured with various flavours)
i like chocolate.

POCKY!! !

God I was in love with this at high school. (Yes, I learnt Japanese. Yes, I'm now almost fluent. Yes, that had no bearing on my love of Pocky but everyone else I know who knows Japanese seems to love it?!)

I love the chocolate stuff best.

Strawberry! I used to eat Pocky in elementary school. Yan Yan too.

They might associate us with annoying, smelly Japanophiles (I'm not saying that all Japanophiles are annoying and smelly, but some of them are.) and rabid anime fans. Also, there's the fact that it originated in Japan (duh) and we've kinda nicked it from them.
I'm not saying it's bad that white people like it, I just hope that the Japanese don't take it the wrong way.
As I said, I tried chocolate pocky, and I liked it. I really want to try strawberry.

i don't like pocky, to me it tastes too artificial. I've tried strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, banana and green apple. I WANT to like them because they're cute but alas my tastebuds reject them every time.

I orderet a pack of classic Pockys (chocolate flavor) with my Pump It Up game and mats, on january 2006. They were delicious

In the Metrocom (an anime con) of this year there was a stand selling Pockys, but I arrived late and they were sold out

I haven't found a place where I can buy them.

The only reason I grew up eating Pocky is because I live in a predominantly Asian neighborhood. I suppose they would be hard to find elsewhere.
