How far do we judge people by the foods they eat. Can stereotypes and prejudices about certain ethnic groups sometimes come out of their food preferences?

Live sushi(the fish is literally still alive when served) is a delicacy by at least some Japanese and this restaurant while given the nod in Japan would probably raise the roof in the US.
