Is there such a thing as a brown cat? I mean, totally brown and not tortie or Siamese or ginger or striped?

Like this? : :cat:

I've never seen a brown cat.

There is a breed called the Havana Brown. It's a very pretty cat.

I like it too. I also really like the brown cat. My two cats are tabby's and they are litter brother and sisters.

Thanks guys. She's Jane Eyre.
She endured serious trauma, so I use her picture when I need a little boost of strength.

Hugs.

Oh yeah when she was made to have a sign fr some minor or imagined offence at the orphanage?? Imagine.

I just cancelled/switched therapists (easy to do in this App format) after strong advice frm my sister. She said something interesting

She said when she worked at a hotline n counseling sheassumed the majority of ppl wd be compassionate and understanding

She said she was surprised to find a lot of them were extremely dismissive unhelpful n downright rude to the ppl who had reached out to them! She said the field is littered with such ‘therapists’ and thats why if u have a counselir questioning your own experience in a dismissive (without solution pr practical value) way u shd trust ur gut n immediately switch

Was it difficult to find a new therapist, Blooie?

I'm at the point where I may need to do just that. I'd prefer a psychologist who is either autistic or knows about autism as a specialty, and not just a few stereotypes.

I can't find one.

I hate therapists because I feel like they always judge me negatively the moment they find out I have bipolar disorder. :(

Do you have a psychiatrist? They might be more understanding of bipolar because it's a medical condition.

It’s just the online app .. i was ‘matched’ to him which was a bust, after cancelling him they gave me the option of actually picking
It’s interesting tht they give u things to narrow down like
Self esteem issues
Lgbt
Family trauma
Addiction

Etc but they dont list anything fr ASd

My last therapist (in real life face to face) wd basically say ‘ohh i read about autism on this mans facebook he said..’ i was like yeah i am aware od that page..

Or ‘on the good doctor i saw..’

Like she was sharing with ME how ASD ppl feeln are treated
Like..look what i learned today!
:?

It came withgood intentions but not helpful

I also think deep down she disnt believe me abt the law clerk thing (i don’t blame her- it DOES sound unbelievable as well combined with alk the stuff tht happened with XH)
So.. yeah. Idk if i will mention that to therapists again even though tht dumb incident is always haunting me and on my mind..
