If you could write the book with all of your favourite things [as well as favourite plot elements, character archetypes, and so forth], what would it be called and what would it be about?

Growing up on J-Cool - and it would be about how watching anime/ reading manga/ being obsessed about japanese culture from an early age really morphed my personality and expectations of life/ work/ relationships. Also my understanding of life as I learnt about many dark things through manga. It is interesting growing up relating more to another country's culture [or anyway perceived culture] than your own ...

I tend to like novels of realism which are arranged in chronological order.

It irritates me when an author gets an aspect of history wrong.


Do you like factual books, like the World Almanac?

My book would be the story of Wuthering Heights or VIllette. I have that "DAMN! I wish I wrote that!" feeling about them. If I had to write something more original it would be a combination: Lucy Snowe from Villette would have a childhood like Jane Eyre and and live at Wuthering Heights before going to Belgium.

Do you watch TV in the dark, or keep lights on?

I keep the lights on.

Do you like daytime or night?

Night. I love it. I love the quiet and the dark. I'm usually awake all night to enjoy it, and I sleep in the mornings.

Do you drink at least 8 glasses of water per day?

what is the most dramatic thing that you have ever gotten away with?

I dropped a pizza on someone's convertible from a penthouse balcony.

I can't think of anything particularly dramatic but I'll let you know.

I do!

Do you like social media like twitter/facebook?

I have 18 Facebook friends. I'm very selective and most of them are family overseas.
I have never used Twitter.
I've never even left a voicemail message before. lol.

I know I was 13 and trying so hard to be cool. It was a direct bullseye, too. I felt really badly afterward especially when I saw the guy go his car. I almost cried but that wouldn't have been cool.

Are you a good photographer?

I'm pretty good with digital cameras.

I will go ages without taking any photos, then take about 100 pictures of the same thing just hoping one turns out.
I missed the whole advent of digital photography so I've never even learned editing basics or used Photoshop. I turn most of my pictures into black and white so they'll at least look vintage if, on the rare occasion, I print them.
