Not really fired, but “let go” because the company was sold and the purchaser wanted to use their own people for the job.

I’d be too afraid of being held to expectations I couldn’t meet to put anything on my resume that wasn’t one hundred percent true. But I guess I probably should have back when I was job-hunting, based on the number of times I (didn’t) hear back.

What would be your ideal job?

never inflicted it on anyone, was often the recipient of it growing up, from parents and schools. belts, paddles, other found objects.
