I've had the same haircut my whole life, other than letting it grow a little long at times, and I'd like to try something different. I've got a big nose, so would I look weird with a buzz/military haircut? I think I'll try it at least. Opinions? Here's how I look with regular short hair:

If it's something you want to try go for it.

Personally I'd be too cold without the hair so I'd never try it myself.

I think you'd look just fine.

I'm sure it would look good on you, give it a shot, it'll grow out if you hate it.

The coolest thing to me about it is how long I could go before having to get it cut again! That's actually what gave me the idea -- sheer practicality, oh Aspie that I am. I just got my hair cut yesterday, so I'll wait a few months before the buzz cut. At least then it'll be springtime. I hate getting my hair cut.

I like your hair cut, but then again i'm biased because you have the same hair cut as me.

I've had buzz cuts before, and I thought I looked pretty good in them.

For comparison, here's me right now, with my hair the shortest it's ever been.

Buzz-cuts are easier.

And I agree with you KristaMeth.

Are you going to trim the facial hair as well?

Do you have a nice shaped skull?

You have a nice face so would look good with a buzz cut.

Okay, my first choice for ANYONE'S hair is either dye it blue or get a mohawk. But after seeing your picture, my honest opinion is that I think you'd look good with longer hair actually. Or blue hair. Or a mohawk. Seriously.

Or you could just shave the goatee and keep the other hair the same.

That would be the style I had for... um... 26 years. The goatee is a relatively recent addition. On further reflection, my new haircut looks great IMO, so, while I might experiment with a buzz cut (so that I won't have to style it or get it cut too often), it would just be to do something different.
But I think my current style is really "me".

While I'm sure a mohawk or blue hair would be attention/love getting, for a guy like me, it's false advertizing. I don't have any of the mohawk or blue hair personalities. Even with the goatee, people seem to expect me to act hip or cool, but I'm not about that. I just think the goatee looks good -- I'm not meaning to make a "statement" with it, but it makes a statement anyway. And a mohawk or blue hair would make a HUGE statement contrary to who I am.
