I arrived in Paris yesterday - just about to go on a 4 hour walking tour.

In 1 week I'll be back home - I'm missing my kids and husband HEAPS but still having lots of fun.

Regards
Helen

I am in Paris, she said, it's worth a few days, but only in the off season now, tourists you know.

The children are well, some reports of rain, the garden grows.

World traveler, but will she stay home? Is it the bug? I must see Mongolia from horseback she said, and off again.

Paris, not worth a photo? Remember, we do not leave the house.

No need to tell you to enjoy yourself.

Way to go Helen...

Have fun... If you're feeling morbid take a visit to the catacombs - the entrance to the catacombs is right across the street from the Denfert-Rochereau Metro station exit.

For people online here wondering what I'm talking about - there's a virtual tour link below;

I'm going to Paris in August sometime, let me know of the highlights of your trip, and any good (cheap) restaurants/accomodations!

I'm definately going to see those catacombs. :o

Ooooh Paris! It sounds like you're having a whale of a time in the Hexagon. Never been there myself like but I look forward to the photos!

I am having a fantastic time in Paris. I can't put up photos until I get home ... unable to upload my photos in this Internet Cafe.

The Parisians are very friendly and helpful.

The guys in the internet cafe are really funny. They have been giving me French tuition everyday. 2 days ago they told me I have to ask to go on the internet in French. They taught me how to ask and wrote it down for me:

Je voudrais une connexion s'il vous plais

When I asked in French yesterday I got a standing ovation and round of applause :lol:

In a Patissere I asked for a chocolate eclair in what I thought was an excellent accent. The guy looked at me and said, 'You're Australian, aren't you?' So much for my accent.

I'm looking forward to meeting quite a few WrongPlanet Londoners tomorrw. On Sunday I'm meeting Lau too!

Regards
Helen

Parisians = people who live in Paris (could mean people who are not French)
French = French people from all over the French Republic

ohhh this is all terribly exciting for us shut-ins, Helen!

<trembles>

Is it true about dog pee being everywhere in paris? Like patterns on the sidewalks? I think that was a Brett Whitely notion.
