I have been a vegetarian for a while and decided now to become a vegan. Are any of you either of the above?

I created a vegetarian/vegan group on bebo for non-meat-eaters to join. Please join if you do not eat meat...

Not a chance. Without my bacon sandwich every morning and a T-bone steak once in a while I'd go crazy. There's also the spicy sausages they serve round here along with the free-range chickens which taste real good when roasted.

Omnivore, as nature intended. Life needs to consume life to live.

Mostly poultry. Turkeys are evil. One tried to kill me when I was 4. I do not like red meat in general, just an occasional burger, but have no problem with it being turkey instead. I do like pork, but almost never eat it. No fish! I have them as pets. I'm not going to eat your dog or cat, so don't eat my fish. I hate how animals are treated and have always considered going vegetarian, but I just like so few fruits and vegetables that I would likely wither away and die if I did. Plus, plants are living breathing organisms too. Maybe someday.

omnivore, or better yet opportunist. I dont eat meat much just out of habit... i prefer nuts and seeds with the occasional bit of critter... most of my diet consists of grapenuts and peanut butter.

I'm a veggie. Not because I hate the idea of animals suffering, or anything like that... I became a vegetarian to make my ex happy, and when we broke up I tried giving up on vegetarianism... but I felt guilty whenever I did. So, I'm a dedicated veggie once again

Omnivore.

I don't get vegetarians, veg on its own doesn't make for a satisfying meal. You have to have meat to make dinner substantial.

Amongst other things...

If I could be a carnivore, I would. I love meat, especially spare ribs smothered in barbecue sauce.
