I want one big deep life and one solid group of really good friends, not just like 50 acquaintances and my life is divided into fractions-- school, work, a club, family, etc. I want to live ONE FULL LIFE, not 5 compromised/time-limited/partitioned/shallow lives. Have you ever felt the same way? Do you feel the same way? I'm not for this shallow NT BS. And people wonder why antidepressants are the number 1 prescribed drug class.

Do you mean you want a wife, a sister, and a mother, and for all of them to be the same person?

definitely yes: it took me the longest time to get over my siblings leaving and starting new families, and only seeing them a few times a year. Even when I see them, it's not the same because their spouses and kids are wedged between us. I was happy being in my family clan, and really didn't need anyone else. It's really hard to let people go and know that it will never be the same again.

I can't stand shallowness and sheepishness.
