Anger triggers things that i cant explain. Does it give us power?

Anger can give you energy to construe into something good. But then if you are angry often it can change your personality and leave you feeling dull and depressed with too much going on in your head.

Darn it...you stole my answer haha.

I don't think anger gives anyone "power" as such....anger is such an irrational emotion...but then again, no emotion is rational. :?
Being angry may give someone more strength than they usually have, or make them more demanding and outspoken...but I don't see that as such a positive thing as anger doesn't do any good unless chanelled in a positive way. Eg; Chanelling anger into motivation to change your own situation.

I do that a lot, especially with politics and other things I have strong opinions on. Then classmates go "matrix for president" because of this irresistible aspie mix of rage and charisma. I don't know why AS are dubbed horrible public speakers, I happen to like it.

The dark side isn't stronger, just quicker, easier and more seductive...

:alien: <-- The closest I could find to a Yoda.

Anger/Adrenalin makes you stronger, faster but less accurate.

In D&D RPG terms, it makes you more like a warrior and less like a mage or thief.

Honestly, I don't get angry as much as I used to. Hence the fact I'm no longer a Berserker. I'd rather be a Archer/Ranger in Final Fantasy terms.

I used to get angry a lot, but I've calmed down. =)

 Haha. Berserker.

I don't know... When I get angry... I get very passionate... maybe that leads to power.

Do you mean like Dahl's Matilda, where her anger led her to develop telekinetic powers? For some reason that's the first thing that comes to mind. I love that book! :)

Anyway, I think anger is like a type of fuel... a sort of energy that can be consumed however you choose to use it. Some people use it for sports, and some of the best musicians seem to thrive on it.

I'm most dangerous and powerful when in a calm unthinking mood, reaction without thinking. When I'm boiling with anger, I feel restricted, and in my experience I don't hit as hard. I guess I think to much when I'm angry...

I used to get so angry I thought I would explode, literally. I used to channel, focus, harbor, all my hateful/angry thoughts into somewhat of an avatar of myself. Or rather, as I saw it, a much more perfect me.

That other me did some pretty unspeakable things in my mind, and it was very comforting. I guess I still do it, but I'm starting to realize just how unnecessary hate and anger can be. Odd Trigun reference, but I'm both Vash and Knives at the same time.

I think this one really depends on the person myself. :D

Just as fighting was (and still is if the circumstance allows it) a big hobby of mine. I've noticed a few types of angry. There's the type of person who just tries to get close with slaps or something which while rapid, don't tend to hurt too much, then there's the slightly more focused kind who use the anger to bypass a few of their limits. And then, my favourite, the type who will go close to insane doing something such as rushing their opponent, grabbing them by the neck with one hand and wailing on their face rapidly with a proper closed fist punch with the other.

Some people get stronger and more focused, others it don't seem to do much for.
